A permanent Senior Management Accountant job paying up to £50k for a high-growth business based in Bromsgrove. Job Type:PermanentSalary:£40,000-£50,000 per annumLocation:BromsgroveHours:Mon-Fri (35 hours per week)Your new companyHays Senior Finance are delighted to be partnering with a key client in the Bromsgrove area as they look to appoint a Senior Management Accountant on a permanent basis.This PE backed business has seen tremendous growth in recent years, organically and through acquisition, and are now regarded as one of the leaders in their industry.Your new roleWorking closely with the Finance Manager, you will become responsible for key day-to-day financial activities within the Group and manage a small team in the process.Main duties:

  • Production of financial information including P&L accounts, budgets and cash flows
  • Production of monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary
  • Production of management reporting to aid in the decision-making process
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Reporting of company assets and liabilities including balance sheet account reconciliations and review of intangible assets
  • Collecting, investigating and summarising of data offering key insight and analysis
  • Business partnering with senior management
  • Managing and developing a team of 2 staff

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Previous experience in a similar management accounting role with a good understanding of the overall process
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial management
  • Capable of embracing change in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess the drive and willingness to both assess and improve current processes and procedures
  • Able to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Strong IT skills and proficient with MS Office and accounting packages
