The Company:ER Recruitment are working with our exciting client, a manufacturer based in the Coventry, who are leaders within their industry.They are now looking for a Sales Administrator to provide accurate interpretation of information between the Sales and Manufacturing areas. The successful candidate will have experience being a 'facilitator' between sales and manufacturing teams.Role & Responsibilities of the Sales Administrator:

  • Support process improvement initiatives as required within the scheduling of the factory.
  • Update late list (including future orders) for distribution to all sales desks and manufacturing.
  • Sort and distribute work orders for the Finishing department.
  • Respond to emails/phone calls from Residential and Commercial sales teams in the UK, Germany, France and Sweden.
  • Run QAD reports for sales orders and check on material/quantity/location. Release work orders or notify sales / schedulers on issues where applicable.
  • Liaise with C.A.D. for orders requiring drawings/programs. Communicate with Sales and IT on due date and item number creation including unit of measure to order.
  • Order large/special slab requirements with schedulers.
  • Run report of orders placed previous day and check on finishes/large orders and that they comply with policy and due dates quoted.
  • Produce due date lists for Main Factory and Finished stock and email to the Residential and Commercial sales offices in the UK, Germany, France and Sweden.
  • Update sales entry errors on spreadsheet.
  • Meet health and safety requirements as specified in the Health & Safety policy.
  • Carry out other duties as required and requested by line manager in line with the job purpose.

About You as the Sales Administrator:

  • Drivers Licence is essential as you may need to travel to other sites in the West Midlands
  • Knowledge of a supply and manufacturing environment
  • Experience of QAD or similar ERP system is ideal
