Payroll Specialist:

Assist with reconciling employee deductions and carrying out various payroll related projects

Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies by analyzing data in ADP Workforce Now

Calculate and post payroll by established deadlines

Calculate payable hours, bonuses, taxes, and deductions

Update records relating to title changes, insurance coverage, loan payments, salary increases

Prepare and review payroll reports detailing earnings, hours worked, taxes, insurance and leave

Compile and enter employee information and payroll data into ADP Workforce Now and SAP

Review and verify timesheets

Answer employees' questions and concerns regarding payroll

Process new employees, promotions, and terminations

Maintain and update payroll records

Handle requests for pay-related documents including statements and verifications

Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines

Assist HR Team with ad hoc projects, as needed

ADP Workforce Now required

Experience working with payroll systems for 300-600 employees required

Experience with Automated Payroll required

Comfortable working with numbers in a fast paced environment

Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

Eagerness to master new systems

FMLA experience preferred

Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills

Comprehensive knowledge of Human Resources (HR) Administration

Minimum of solid 1-2 years of payroll experience required
