Job Title: Payroll Analyst I
Location: Exton, PA 19341 - Hybrid
Duration: 5 - 6 Months

Hybrid - Shift: 8 AM to 5 PM

Job Description:
  • (TBS) is a newly formed function within Client with the objective of enabling TBS, delivering simplification and cost reduction, improving service and providing a transformation engine for continuous improvement for Client's. 'Building and Delivering Simplified and Innovative Solutions' is our overarching vision with Patients at the center of all that we do.
  • The 'European Employee Lifecycle Solutions Lead' is a new role, critical to the transformation of our TBS People Solutions organization from a traditional Shared Service organization to a GBS organization. The role leads the seting up and establishment of the European Workforce Administration/Employee Life Cycle Management operations, working closely with the US to implement standardized processes and different systems into the European team.
  • Critical to the implementation of the HR Operating model, this leadership position plays a significant role in respect of the HR transition of work from European Local Operating Companies into TBS, supporting operational efficiencies through the LEO and BPR programmes, developing and leading a function that has a business solutions approach and creating a best-in-class function and environment for our people.
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely payroll processing for US and Canada including calculation of wages and deductions,maintenance of employee payroll records, pay result audits, and distribution of payroll reports and withheld funds.
  • Researches and resolves escalated payroll inquiries.
  • Supports processing of complex payroll transactions and quarterly/year end updates and adjustments.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert and/or resource to others in the area of payroll processing.
  • Reviews, analyzes and verifies payroll reports and documents for accuracy; makes necessary adjustments or corrections to payroll input or other established procedures.
  • Analyzes and responds to complex matters requiring comprehensive knowledge of payroll policies and procedures.
  • Researches and interprets a variety of complex technical information in response to inquiries.
  • Ongoing review of payroll tasks for potential process improvements and recommends or participates in the development of new procedures and policies related to the process.
  • Support and process accurate and timely year-end activities for W-2, W-2c, etc.
  • In depth knowledge and application of payroll principles, concepts and industry practices and standards
  • Must be detail and goal oriented and have strong follow-through skills
  • Able to understand the importance of escalating issues that sit beyond the scope of the role
  • Professionalism in dealing with customers and ability to work with other internal resources is required
  • Experience of working with Workday & ADP systems is preferred
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state and local payroll related tax regulations, legislation and guidelines including, but not limited to writs of garnishment, child support, levies, subpoenas, non-resident alien and U.S. tax treaties.
  • Skill in evaluating and analyzing technical payroll activities, preparing detailed reports and performing detailed computations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Requires 3-5 years of payroll experience
