Your contribution to KPMG

  • Lead projects and develop solutions to actuarial/consulting problems for corporate clients (e.g. pension due diligence in international M&A projects)
  • Identify client opportunities and needs, manage client relationships and develop new ones by assisting with the development of proposals in order to win new business
  • Support the Audit function considering defined benefit pension in year- end reporting (mainly IFRS/IAS 19, UK GAAP and/or US GAAP)
  • Identify business opportunities by building relationships both internally and externally
  • Develop, train and mentor existing staff and build a team to support project delivery

This is what makes you successful

  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to think commercially and communicate complex ideas clearly
  • Qualified (or near qualified) actuarial qualification required
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, independent and outgoing personality who fosters collaboration and develops innovative solutions
  • Ideally four to six years of experience within the pensions industry in an actuarial position, prior Big 4 experience an advantage
  • University degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, economics, natural sciences, or finance
  • Major (or equivalent professional qualification) in actuarial mathematics
  • Strong IT skills, specifically in MS Office, experience with actuarial software a plus
  • Proficient English skills, French or German skills are an advantage
