Job Title: IT Systems/Helpdesk Support Salary: £26,000-£28,000 per annum dependant on experience Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 (flexible start and finish times)Location: Barton Upon Humber/Grimsby

Our client is looking for an IT Systems/Helpdesk Support individual who will be responsible for the maintenance and development of in-house systems as well as providing ongoing improvements.

The role covers many aspects of IT and will include some end user support and training. The successful candidate will need to posses the ability to provide expertise across a whole range of systems.

Role Responsibilities:

  • To provide ICT user support (hardware/software) in a windows environment.
  • To install & maintain all hardware/software within the organisation.
  • To have a good working knowledge of the Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange & Microsoft 365 environments.
  • To provide continued development and maintenance of current and new Apps within an object-oriented, high-level programming language such as VB.NET.
  • Database administration using Microsoft SQL & MYSQL
  • To identify potential new technologies that would benefit the business and improvements in the functionality and use of existing systems.
  • To achieve high performance of IT services.
  • Liaising with external ICT support providers.

Essential requirements:

  • Excellent Communication/Customer Service Skills
  • An eye for detail and passion for quality.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office 365 including Access
  • SQL and Object Orientated programming skills
  • Capability in Hardware and software maintenance & support
  • Proactive and able to operate without direct supervision
  • Understanding of and commitment to the highest standards of customer service and care
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and work with high pressure situations.
  • A team player who is able to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Provide a high level of attention to detail, Data Analysis & reporting
  • Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills


  • Knowledge of Crystal Reports
  • API Development experience
  • Net VB6 programming skills
  • Some Knowledge of HTML, HTML5, PHP, & ASP.NET
  • Understanding of Telecommunications & Broadband
  • Knowledge of Social Media/Google Analytics/SEO
