Vitality, Insurance Claims Handler, Bournemouth, £25,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Shift pattern: 40 hours per week based on a shift pattern between 8am - 7pm Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays from 9am - 1pm.

About the Insurance Claims Handler role:

We are looking for the right people to join our Claims team. Do you have a talent to listen, empathise and can support a claims pathway end to end through our customers treatment? (Including assessing reports to provide next steps in support for treatment which we can and can't provide cover for) You will have at least one years' experience in an insurance industry. This is a permanent role.

The salary displayed is based on a 40-hour contract however, we are flexible with a variance of hours available so just ask when we talk to you. In return we offer a competitive salary of £25,000 and a £500 bonus upon completing probation and a monthly performance-based bonus scheme which can boost your earnings by up to £3000 per annum for exceptional talent. Overall job purpose for an Insurance Claims Handler:

As one of our Insurance Claims Handlers you will be part of our customers everyday lives and how they feel when they are poorly. You will need to be able to have an adaptive approach to how they feel whilst you support them end to end throughout their claim and their treatment pathway. You will be used to all levels of conversations including challenging ones that require empathy, support and ownership. You will thrive in making sure you provide a great service every call. You know through your previous experiences that holding a customer's hand through every step of their claim is imperative to great customer service.

Someone with great work ethics. Someone who brings their best self to work every day and provides a positive experience to everyone around them not just their customer, their colleagues included. Passion for Customer Service and has attention to detail. Getting is right first time is something you will pride yourself on. The ability to self-reflect and also to be proactive for your own development. You will be supported with 121's, coaching and development pathways but we know it's about a two-way approach, you will need these skills so we can help you grow to be your best self.

  • Ownership of tasks including resolution of any issues that might arise
