For this particular role, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of practical experience as an administrator for Financial Advisor or wealth management company and be working towards their level 4 Diploma (yoor a fu may have only just started this process), and will have gained solid technical experience around Pensions and Investments and other financial service offerings. Working alongside a team of Paraplanners, you will be working closely with a couple of the Advisers in the firm, getting to know their clients and build effective working relationships with them. The firm are very client focussed, and you will be expected to get to know the clients personally as well as attend virtual client meetings with the Advisers and eventually face to face meetings when required. This role can offer two distinct career paths, the first being working towards a career as a Paraplanner where you can remain within this role, comfortable with a high element of job security; The second one is progression to a Paraplanning Team Supervisor role at a point in the future, acting as the technical point of contact for both Advisers and more junior Paraplanners.
Full on the job training and support will be given to allow you to pursue either career path, along with full study support, to enable you to obtain your Financial Planning Certificate and in the future work towards Chartered status. This role will offer a blend of working from home and from the office in, (after a period of being trained at the office on their systems and procedures).
To be eligible for this IFA Administrator / Wealth Management administrators role, you must be working towards your level 4 Diploma qualified and will have worked as a Paraplanner for a years or so.
