Your focus is on improving the performance of the Practice Group through its people and ensuring alignment with OC's overall strategy
  • In partnership with the Practice Group Head and Operations Director (OD), you will define the PG's people plan and talent strategy and ensure successful implementation. You'll keep progress under review and measure impact in terms of business outcomes

  • You'll work closely with your OD and Finance Business Partner to make sure your Practice Group is the right size and shape, and has the right skills, to deliver against business targets. You'll keep this regularly under review and use insight to influence decision making about people, promotions, and recruitment throughout the year. You'll advise on organisational design as needed
  • You'll support partners to continually improve employee engagement within the Practice Group and ensure feedback is listened to and acted upon so that the culture remains a competitive advantage
  • You'll use data driven insights to drive the people agenda and influence decision making. You'll also use your extensive HR knowledge to bring an external perspective to the HR offering
  • You'll work with colleagues in People Development to ensure that skills and capability, and management capability, is being developed
  • You'll lead on complex or sensitive employee relations matters as needed
  • You'll influence reward decisions in the Practice Group, driving fairness and consistency, and take the lead on annual pay review and bonus nominations
  • You'll work with colleagues in recruitment to ensure we attract the best talent and managers have the right recruitment and selection skills for this
  • You'll manage an HR Adviser and HR Assistant within a matrix structure, so you'll oversee a full remit of HR service to your PracticeGroup
  • You'll work closely with other HRBPs and managers within the HR team to deliver excellent and efficient service to partners, managers and employees
  • You'll coach team members and build their capability. You'll act as an escalation point for the HR Adviser and Assistant as necessary
  • You'll lead on HR projects, as well as influencing and contributing to change projects across the business, and will be responsible for successfully embedding central HR initiatives within your Practice Group
