My client are a hugely successful group within the M and E and Construction sector. Due to their ongoing growth they have an opportunity for a Health and Safety Adviser to join their team. The role will involve working closely with the Senior Management team and offers the opportunity to progress into a senior position within the group.

You will be responsible for providing specialist advice to the management team and the operating business.About the role

  • HSEQ Strategy
  • Maintaining Professional Standards
  • Incident / Accident Investigations
  • Policy and Procedure Guidance.
  • Assurance

To include:

  • Undertake site visits and engage with all employees on a regular basis.
  • Provide feedback on effective policy and procedure implementation.
  • Manage the Business Audit & Inspection Plan to ensure compliance.
  • Review Risk Assessment arrangements
  • Positively participate in Health and Safety Site meetings.
  • Ensure effective root cause analysis of incidents across the Group
  • Manage Sub Contractor compliance.

Desirable Skills, Qualifications and Training:

  • IOSH Member
  • NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health
  • NVQ Level 4 Occupational Health and Safety (If not Diploma)
  • CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
  • IOSH Managing Safely
