What will you contribute?

This role is responsible for managing all aspects of significant to moderately complex projects for a defined segment of strategic initiatives from project definition and intake to transition to full implementation and operational support.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:
  • Design and embed leading practice global processes and metrics in a consistent and controlled manner
  • Gather business requirements against the MoSCoW criteria
  • Manage the daily/weekly project assignments across multiple projects and monitor progress against the work plan to assure that objectives are met within the prescribed time, cost, and quality measures
  • Design and implement end to end Finance processes (including policies, KPIS, data, governance, SLAs) to ensure efficiency, and effectiveness / quality of processes meet business requirements, compliance with statutory government regulations, legal contracts, and accounting requirements to minimise liability and risk
  • Lead process walkthroughs for the appropriate functional area to ensure business understanding, and drive adoption of the solution
  • Ensure global processes are standardised and consistent to leading practice
  • Provide advice when deviations from the standard global process are required
  • Identify and track risks, define mitigation and contingency plans, identify resources to mitigate and communicate
  • Define the goals and objectives of specific projects and individual team member's roles and responsibilities for the duration of the project
  • Work with service delivery teams to ensure business process design supports the operating model and enables the agreed service delivery to customers (e.g. quality, cost savings) and other business benefits
  • Maintain process integrity and keep business process model and associated documentation up-to-date and in line with the global templates
  • Maintain functional alignment with those functions impacted by the process, champion and advocate the solution
  • Provide input into development of technical solutions to support and automate processes
  • Ensure the project team utilizes IT defined tools and standards, processes and procedures
  • Identify organisation design needed to deliver the processes, including the required capabilities needed across the function, the business alignment and readiness in advance of deployment and the change management needed to ensure adoption and anchoring
  • Support the implementation of the E2E process through, analysis of change impact, building business readiness, tracking readiness though implementation and working with the appropriate delivery organisation to ensure implementations are anchored
  • Provide specific input to the development and review of training materials and delivery
  • Imbed metrics to measure the process delivery
  • Align processes to the implementation of single core technology solution to support and automate processes
Required Experience & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Managing projects or programs
  • Leading technical and non-technical resources
  • Assisting project management teams with identification of action items, tasks and activities and tracking progress
  • Engaging confidently with senior level managers/executives and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Operating across multiple geographies and cultures
  • Influencing teams to develop a global standard
  • Working indepdently
  • Managing changing priorities - flexible
  • Collaborating/communicating well across functionsDefining, implementing and continually improving standards, processes and procedures utilizing industry best practice (PMI, CMMI, etc.)
  • Developing project workplans, resourcing, and budgets based on the development of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
  • Ownership, leadership, design and delivery of leading practice Finance and Business Enablement processes
  • Accounting qualification or MBA an advantage
Key Relationships:

Close interaction with all Finance teams, Finance Shared Services Center, Business Enablement, Operational Effectiveness team, IT, and HR.
