Job Title: Executive Assistant to the Executive Director

Contract Status: Permanent, Full time

Salary: Grade 4

Our core role is to regulate. First, we promote high professional standards for nurses and midwives across the UK, and nursing associates in England. Second, we maintain the register of professionals eligible to practise. Third, we investigate when nursing or midwifery care goes wrong - something that affects less than one percent of professionals each year.

We create resources and guidance that are useful throughout people's careers, helping them to deliver our standards in practice and address new challenges. About the role

Reporting to the Executive Business Manager

The Executive Assistant (EA) provides dedicated support to the Executive Director. Working with Executive Business Manager, the EA helps to form the executive office function that supports the director's work and the work of the Directorate Senior Leadership Team.

About you

  1. Exceptional organisation and diary management skills, including a strong ability to work proactively, use good judgement, problem solve, and plan time effectively
  2. Previous experience of providing executive support to a Board level senior leader, including workflow management, prioritisation, planning, and monitoring of activity
