A global, full service face-to-face live events marketing partner is looking for a number of Customer Service Advisors to join its team. This position offers the opportunity to work from home, but you will need to be able to get to the office at the NEC for 2 weeks training initially and maybe be office based one day per week. Along with a salary of £21,000 per annum, you will also receive 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a reward strategy based on team members receiving a salary that best reflects their experience and skill level. This is a very varied role and includes problem solving and concern resolution for key clients as well as an element of outbound customer service and soft upselling of key products to existing customers. As a Customer Service Advisor your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing customer service, sales, and general support for exhibitors within EMEA, via inbound and outbound phone calls, live chat, e-mail, white mail or other communication methods for all pre and post show inquiries and orders
  • Handling enquiries with appropriate and timely follow through, documenting all interactions and tasks immediately within the CRM systems
  • Case management with timely updates to exhibitors, business areas and all involved parties
  • Entering exhibitor, contractor, and internal orders as appropriate, take payments, raise invoices, and handle any related queries
  • Acting as a liaison between lines of business and exhibitors
  • Outbound soft selling, sales through up-selling with existing clients
  • Actively engaging in continuous improvement ensuring suggestions and opportunities are highlighted to your line manager
We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor who has the following skills and experiences:
  • Previous customer service experience
  • The ability to develop and maintain positive and progressive working relationships both internally and externally, in order to facilitate growth and integration across the business
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent spelling and grammar with the ability to produce error-free documents
  • Excellent planning, organisational and prioritising skills
Hours of work for the CS advisor are 08:30-17:00, Monday - Friday.
