The Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Branch Support Manager to join our Fortem team based in Tunbridge Wells. This is a permanent position ideal for someone who is confident, driven and passionate to succeed. At the heart of the branch this role is instrumental to the smooth running of this high-profile contract.

The Project You will be a key member of the strategic leadership team, delivering and supporting the branch in all areas. Your responsibilities will include:

You will be the brand ambassador of the Fortem culture and Values, challenge the wrong values and behaviours and reward and recognise the right ones.

Identify talent locally, ensure appropriate recognition and opportunities, supporting internal apprentices and management trainees within the branch.

Reporting to the General Manager and liaising with the Operational and Commercial leads to ensure seamless working to achieve the branch action plan targets.

Explore ways to reduce costs and eliminate procedures that add insufficient value, seeking continual improvements in the operation. You will be encouraged to attend accounts meetings to understand how effective the branch is at controlling costs, identifying trends and working together to deliver results.

Organise and manage training for all staff and trades across the branch.

Establish and manage feedback forums with both staff and trades to review operational and commercial performance and discuss and agree better ways of working and implement and monitor the changes.

Identify any IT issues within the branch and work with IT to reduce any negative operational impact on the business, establish and support the role of PDA champions within the branch.

Develop and provide the branch community investment programme in accordance with our contract obligations.
