Future Build Recruitment are currently looking for a Bid Coordinator/Administrator for a specialist restoration contractor based in Central London. The role will initially focus on control of the Estimating function of the business with the potential to develop into other functions of the business and take on a more senior role in the future. The works of this role would include: Working alongside the team to control and manage the estimating operations and specifically to assist the estimators in becoming more professional and efficient with a focus on further development procedurally. Priority being to assist the organisation in the improvement of our estimating operations. Duties will include regular updating and reporting against the Pre-assessment procedure and the overall estimating tracker. Packaging, management & comparisons of sub-contractor enquiries/prices, the preparation of bids in liaison with the estimators, supply chain liaison, co-ordination and improvements plus ensuring that successful bids are handed over compliantly & Project de-briefs are carried out. This position also involves working to deadlines. The ideal candidate for this role would have the following qualities: Pro-active, able to work on own initiative. Highly organised, able to set and work to deadlines. Good communication skills, written and verbal. Experience in Filing and organising file structure. I T literate. Proficient in Word and excel.
