As an Accounts Payable Coordinator in NYC, NY, you provide critical support to the Property Accounting and property management team as you are responsible for reviewing all invoices and documentation, communicate with internal and external stakeholders, and review for any exceptions, research and correct any discrepancies. You work within defined processes, yet you are always looking for ways to find efficiencies and produce detail-oriented work.
Your focus will be to shepherd all operational expense and capital expenditure invoices through the accounts payable system and into the accounting ledgers. Invoices must be reviewed for accuracy, coding and ensure approvals have been indicated before releasing for payment.
You will pay utility bills directly online as well as monitor and report the status of invoice processing for accountants and payees.What you bring

- Minimum 1 year of progressive accounts payable or accounting experience.
- Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills.
- Great communication and customer service skills.
What success looks like
- Experience with Yardi or other accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
